My Month With Very (AD)

If I was a song I think I would be ‘Weather With You’ by Crowded House because the rain seems to have followed me around everywhere I go this month. (It has obviously had to move at pace because did I mention I am a runner now?)

As a firm believer of dress for the weather/life/age you want over here, I haven’t given up on summer fashion just yet. Mostly because we are heading off on holiday at the end of this week and it is so so needed, but also because I have just heard on the radio that we have a few more weeks of glorious sunshine ahead of us. With that in mind I thought I would show you a round up of the outfits I have been loving this month from Very.

You may have seen this dress a lot over instagram and there is a reason it has been so loved. It is super flattering and timeless too. I have found all the dresses that I own that are this nautical style fabric get worn year on year as they never seem to go out of fashion. I have teamed it with these gorgeous shoes and straw clutch but I think it works really well with white trainers too.

Hold onto your hats because for once I have gone out of my comfort zone and chosen a bright colour! This dress is such a bargain and makes me feel like the dancing lady emoji. Do you know the one I mean? I tried to get a twirling photo but my concentration face was something that I will save for the bloopers folder!

Lastly I want to rave about these dungarees. In the softest fabric they are so comfortable. I love dungarees and own few pairs. Mostly because they see you through all the seasons but also because there are JUST SO MANY POCKETS. Oh how I love a pocket!
