I think I won’t be alone in saying that I am over this topsy turvy weather now. I haven’t fully embraced spring just yet but I have updated my wardrobe with pieces that are going to be perfect once we see some sunshine. Also sticking with my mindset that nothing should be kept for best I have been wearing everything with my new Dr Martens boots which make everything feel more weather appropriate.Though, as Pinterest can vouch for, boots and summer dresses is a look I know a lot of people love and something I hope to create once we are in full summertime swing.

This is how I have been styling mine over the last month. I have had so many compliments wearing them and they are the most comfortable boots I own. I have been eyeing them up for months but didn’t feel like I could pull them off. I would suggest trying some on if you feel the same as they are definitely such an easy item to wear that completely changes an outfit.

I think the boots work best with midi dresses but I think if I was going to a festival or (cough cough) I was a little younger I would be happy to be wearing them with shorter dresses too. I am looking forward to trying them with some more pastel tones as I have very much played it safe with my outfit choices so far.

It was a little out of my comfort zone at first to wear these boots but I am so glad I have because now I wear them all the time and absolutely love them.

I’ve had DM for years (shimmery purple ones) but they haven’t gotten any more comfortable over time so I rarely wear them now, which is such a shame. I love the looks you’ve got with them here though.
