It has been a while since I have updated you on some of my favourite and new finds. This last year I have really been enjoying discovering beauty products and finding out whats work for me. Mainly because I have felt like I needed to invest more into the care of my skin. Both the signs of ageing and also my struggles with adult acne have seen me trying new products and also made me so much more choosey about what I use.
Elemis Beauty Smart Pro Collagen
I have both the eye cream duo and the serum and both of which are priced at a really premium level however after only one week of using them I can already see why. Both products are packaged really beautifully but this is something Elemis always get right and I love displaying them in my bathroom. The eye cream is designed to target deep set wrinkles, dark circle’s and puffiness. There seems to be an immediate plumping effect and both the eye products and the serum are incredibly moisturising but also sink into the skin quickly. I am already a massive fan of Elemis products as they, along with Dermalogica have been the brands to transform my acne prone skin. These two new additions to the range are just incredible. It is hard to put into words but I honestly feel that I could go make up free after using them. They just do something to my skin that is noticeable immediately. I will report back after a few weeks on the appearance of wrinkles because I have a feeing this is going to be a product I really rave about.
Bondi Sands
I am always asked about what fake tan I use and I have tried almost every tan on the market. Or at least every tan that high street stores stock. Bondi Sands is my absolute favoutrite for various reasons. I mainly use the dry oil as this gives a deep tan after just one application and I can wear it during the day as it doesn’t stain my clothes and doesn’t have that biscuit smell. (It is more like a coconut smell.) Recently I have been using the gradual tan and applying it every morning after I shower. I have found it to be really moisturising and gives a more subtle tan than the dry oil but obviously this will build up to a deeper tan after a few applications. This would be the product I recommend if you struggle with tan application as it is really forgiving!
Bobbi Brown
I was recently sent some of the new Ulla Johnson for Bobbi Brown collection and I have to say it is the prettiest packaging I have ever seen from the brand. There are some wonderful palettes included in the collection. The cheek palette is my favourite because I pop it in my handbag and it is amazing for touch ups throughout the day. Bobbi Brown is fast taking over my make up drawer as I discover more and more products I love from the brand. The smokey eye mascara came out on top when I asked for mascara recommendations and it absolutely didn’t disappoint.
