If there is one thing that I have learnt, it is that whatever you are willing to say about yourself out loud to people, you have to expect they then might also say the same thing out loud about you. This my friends is why I constantly say I have good hair. Do you know what? It is kinda the most said thing about me these days now. I have drilled it into peoples subconscious like a hair army sergeant. Hindsight tells me I should have tried to convinced people that I have an invaluable quality but if my gravestone reads ‘Good Hair’ then thats enough for me.
I thought it might be nice to do a round up of my favourite products and answer some of the questions you have been sending me recently.
Moroccan Oil Perfect Defense has been my hero product this year. If you do anything new with your hair care routine I would definitely suggest using a heat defence spray. Unless you can limit any heat you use on your hair then this guy is an absolute must. The Argan oil contains vitamin E to help nourish the hair and I have seen such a difference in my split ends since introducing this product into my routine. It is a fun little mist that you just apply to damp hair. Such a simple little spritz that makes the world of a difference.
If you are, like me, on a mission to reduce the heat you use on your hair then I have a fab product for that too. I have made a little challenge for myself to use zero heat on my hair during the summer holidays (basically because there is more time for it to dry naturally without me having to rush out on the school run) I’ll be honest I have only used it once but I have heard so many amazing things about the Bumble & Bumble Don’t Blow It styler. Simply apply to towel dried hair, twist or scrunch and leave the hair to dry naturally. It gives a beachy effect. Though I am going to twist my hair into little buns and let it dry that way to see if I can create a bigger wave next time.
The Bumble & Bumble While You Sleep Mask, which is a little on the spenny side, is incredible. I have only been using a tiny amount and it has made a real difference. That aside there is something very luxe about sleeping in a beautifully scented hair mask don’t you think?

And then to the place where I should’ve started. Shampoo and conditioner. I alternate between Aussie shampoos and Bumble & Bumble purely for cost reasons. If I am styling my hair for something special then I use the Bumble & Bumble because the end result is so so much better. However I really love Aussie products too and there are so many holiday memories attached to the smell!

Do you mind me asking where you get your hair done?
I find it so hard to get products that suit my hair but I might have to give some of these a try. I would like to see more beauty posts on your blog.
Love the curls your hair has! What are the best curlers you’ve found/use please?
