Into A Bit Of Navy

I am always attracted the the slightly more out there outfits. The leather look leggings, metallic pink tops and always any leopard print I can get my hands on. As a mother though and particularly a mother that finds the school run and playground politics daunting, I would say that maybe there is a place and time for my impulse buys. When I’m not flouncing around dressed like I’ve rummaged through lost property I love high quality plains and navy. This jumpsuit from Great Plains is luxurious, has pockets (which I can never understand clothes that don’t!) and is one outfit all in one. Which when its school run time is an absolute blessing!

This is the outfit that I wore for mothers day but I was enjoying the day so much it was one of those rare ones where I didnt get my camera out of my bag. I normally photograph clothes the first time I wear them. Ive no idea why I do that. I guess they seem more special that way. However I just couldn’t wait to wear this jumpsuit. So I can only apologise that you are seeing it on wear number two!

I only talk about the weather every now and then because I worry that once I get into a habit of mentioning it then that means its official, I am old. We haven’t been blessed with many sunny days yet and no sooner do I get my sandals out it starts raining. Its very confusing. Each little burst of sunshine though fills me with a little more happiness. I only like Winter for Christmas and once that is over then Im sunshine all the way!

I am aware that from behind you could mistake me for an explorer in line with Indiana Jones. Fear not, I am scared of most adventures and this outfit, albeit practical, will not be used for anything other than milling about in.

This Gordon backpack from Cru London has the softest leather and I’m loving the handsfree life it enables. If you want 20% discounts off the backpacks use code CARA20CRU valid until end of May 2017.

I love the ‘summer’ look these pictures have 😍 I’m always curious, who takes your pictures for you? My fiancé would take one picture with my head cropped out and that would be it 😅

My trusty tripod took these! My camera connects to my phone so I can use my phone to take the picture if that makes sense! (remote shooting)

Great photos taken on your own. I see you e got a Pipdig blog. How on earth did you learn to use it. I had one about a year ago and after many nights and emails pulling my hair out I gave up!!

This is an outfit I would probably never think of buying if I saw it online, but having seen how great it looks on you, I’m sold. I’ve always thought jumpsuits might be a bit difficult look to pull off, but you’ve made me reconsider giving one a try. I hope you realise that if I try it out and look like a sack of potatoes instead, I will of course blame you … *insert laughing emoji face* x
