Capturing Those Memories.

If you know me, or even if you’ve walked past me then you will know I take alot of photos. I never leave the house without my camera and I get frustrated with dark days because I know it will affect my photographs. I am not saying I’m any good at photography I’m just saying I absolutely love it.

For my birthday in June Si bought me a DSLR and it has changed my life. I did study photography at college however I’m a little rusty now. I’d love to go back to college and study Photography again, perhaps that’s something to think about for the new year.

But what do you do with all your photographs? Pop them on social media and forget about them? Well that’s exactly what I do. I haven’t even printed off my wedding photos yet!

So when I had an opportunity to use CEWE photoworld and their design service I thought it would be really nice to put together a book of the boys over the last year.

The service is really simple, you select your photographs and send them in. You have an opportunity to review the book they put together and make changes and that’s it. Bobs your uncle all your ‘hard work’ arrives on your doorstep.

My book will be a Christmas gift this year. There are so many people in my family that have everything and it’s really hard to buy for and this just seems that extra bit special.

Here some of my favourite pages in the book.

It has definitely inspired me to create something like this each year. I think photobooks make great coffee table books. They are something really nice for guests to browse through while you are popping the kettle on.

If you love the idea of creating something that you can treasure forever then I have a code that will get you 8 extra pages for free : INSTAMUMCEWE but hurry as you need to order by Saturday 10th December for guaranteed Christmas delivery.

I do a photobook every Christmas called ‘a year in photos’.

Like a diary of the year, what we’ve been up to; me included. In month order….I too felt as though I didn’t have anything tangible for when the kids were older….now I have something!

You definitely need to persue photography! You’re so good at it! Xxx
