I just wanted to do a quick post on our advent calender this year. I normally just get a chocolate one but felt this year I might make more effort. On reflection having to wrap teeny tiny gifts with almond shaped acrylic nails I may revert back to the tin foiled doors of dreams next year.
I found this tree advent calender in home sense and it was about £15. I thought buying a fabric one might be more forgiving with treat sizes than one of those gorgeous wooden ones that you always see.
I found a website called Baker Ross which sell loads of little gift items. They are worth remembering when it comes to doing Birthday party bags too. I choose a selection of snowman items including bouncy balls and stretchy snowmen.
My boys are obsessed with superheroes at the moment and first thing every morning they sit and build rockets with their Lego to run in and swoop past our not awake yet faces. It’s one of life’s pleasures that you never tire of!
So I found these Lego superheroes on eBay.
Would you just spare a minute to look at fucking furious superman over here with his gun.
I also got some little transformers and the ‘it goes without saying’ chocolate santas.
But without a doubt is my favourite little thing I’ll be popping into those pouches are my ‘Christmas activities’. I’ve planned so they fall on Sundays and I have written down something Christmassy that we can do all together on that day.
(Christmas minion paper is from next)
Would love to know if you have any fab ideas for advent calendars too!
