Bela’s Knap

We have taken a break from sorting the garden today and decided a long walk would do us all good.

I love living in the Cotswolds and having so many beautiful places on our doorstep.

Today we went to Belas knap which is a Neolithic long barrow according the the website. To me it’s a few caves in a hill that you can tell the kids this is where they’ll have to live it they keep putting sticky fingers on my walls.

Sonny is a walk 10 steps and be carried 20 on a loop kind of soul. So walks are not as enjoyable as they could be but I have guns of steel now!

Si and I are ‘get shit done’ people so it’s hard for us to just merrily walk anywhere. It’s a ‘let’s get to this fucking knap’ attitude and you can feel it in the air.

I love these ‘I am a wild one’ tshirts from Wolf and Bear and I think it’s particularly fitting for Sonny to wear it!

We are back home now and planting roses while the boys nap. I knew we wouldn’t be able to stay away from the garden for too long!
