Since we moved into our new house I have been very impatient and made the mistake of trying to decorate too many rooms at once. So I have put the breaks on, taken a deep breath and started to focus on this little scamps room.
(Totally feeling guilty about neglecting his brother but we hope to cut Harbors room in half and stick a bathroom in it so he’s got bigger things to worry about!)
This is a work in progress. The closest thing to a theme is probably ‘Wild and Free’ – the plaque is from Buffalo and Bear.
Sonny is so lucky to have this room, there is so much natural light and those beams π
I have my eye on a sheep shaped bookcase and a sheep skin rug.
There are too many items to list so if you want to know where anything is from then please ask.
Hi Cara π
I absolutely love what you did with Sonny’s room so far. I don’t have children myself but I’m also a thatched cottage owner and I know that decorating can be tricky as nothing is straight or perfectly square!(which by the way I love:))
I started following you when a photo of your dinning room popped out on the Instagram. I’m a massive ‘cottage perv’ ππ and When it comes to others people cottages I’m very nosy π. I also love how you dress your boys! They are such a cuties. I just found out that my brother is expecting a baby which means ‘baby shopping time!’ Looking at how your boys are dressed and now having little tour around Sonny’s room I feel very inspired. I will definitely use some of the brands and baby will definitely get equipped in range of moccasinsππ
I hope you have a lovely day.
Lots of love (is this too inappropriate to say to a stranger? Oh well too late!)

Silly question but where do you plug in the fairy lights ? Love his room! X x
Where did you spot the sheep shaped bookcase? Hubby is a sheep farmer so that has taken the theme for our youngest boys room
